Leilani Munter

Leilani Münter, born on February 18th, 1976 is a well-known American race car driver competing in the NASCAR Elite division. She was born and raised in Minnesota. Leilani attended University of California and got her bachelor's degree in Biology. This extremely gorgeous car driver, who could easily pass on as a model is very famous amongst Race Car fans.

Leilani made her racing debut in California in 2001 in the Allison Legacy Series. Later in 2002, she moved to Mooresville, North Carolina, which is widely regarded as the center of NASCAR racing. In 2003, she made her NASCAR debut by competing in the Weekly Racing Series at South Boston Speedway. Later in 2004, Leilani raced in Texas Motor Speedway. In 2006, she had her first fulltime season in a race car. Leilani's #57 Chevrolet is sponsored by Konica Minolta.

Leilani appeared in 2006 Hostess ad campaign as "Hostess Race Diva" alongside IRL's Danica Patrick and NHRA's Melanie Troxel. They were featured on the boxes of Hostess Twinkies and Cupcakes. She also featured in several magazines including ESPN, Men's Journal, and Esquire. She hosted the television show Auto Primer on DIY and has been featured on National Geographic and Spike TV. Leilani is also a special correspondent for NASCAR.com and a driving instructor for Fast Track High Performance Driving School. She currently lives in Mooresville, North Carolina.

On June 10, 2006 Leilani set a new record at Texas Motor Speedway when she finished 4th in the Konica Minolta 100, the highest finish for a female driver in the history of the 1.5 mile speedway.
